I've been crafting for 40 years, since I was 12. there are not many crafts I haven't tried over the years. Six months ago I taught myself to needle felt, then spin, then wool dyeing and then knitting. I'd like to share some of the skills I've picked up along the way and welcome you to the world of creativity! I find using your hands to make something is fundamental to my mental health. There is a great sense of accomplishment and pride looking at an object you created, doubly so if that object is useful for something. Learn something new New Zealand.
The projects listed here are for beginner's and are taught one to one in my shed. We'll endeavour to keep a metre apart and masked for the lesson (with a Vaccine Pass). I have a Certificate in Adult Teaching and am a patient and warm facilitator. I used to work at Computing for Free helping adults with computer skills.
If you would like to bring a friend and learn together we can discuss this when you make your booking online. Payment can be on the day, I have EFTPOS. If you are unwell or can't make it please give me notice so I can free up the space for another paying customer.
